Usability/UI Expert
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
What We Are Looking For:

visual strategy to focus each component into a comprehensive solution; designed to
increase efficiency and move the needle.

Responsibilities:
- Working with executive team, clients, and engineering to oversee the usability of each
solution, and ensure a world class, web 2.0 user experience.
- Oversee performance, scalability, and overall strategy for an asynchronous UI
framework design to serve up content with blazing performance.
- Responsible for all VisiQuate applications to maintain the "Don't Make Me Think" approach to web usability.
- Design and manage a methodology for usability testing for all information flows and
navigation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years experience in a similar usability expert role. Experience with B2B and B2C,
content management, and business intelligence.
- Expert wireframe and paper prototyping skills.
- Experience with AJAX, REST, Java, PHP UI performance and scalability.
- Highly organized &be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with design, paper prototyping & project management software tools (ex:
Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, Visio, Flash, MS Project, Balsamiq).
- Expert level with Flash, Ajax, and REST
- Experience using qualitative & quantitative data to deliver enhanced user experience
with web analytics
Open Source BI Developer
Location: Santa Rosa, CA Preferred but open to other locations.
What We Are Looking For:
- The ideal developer is a critical and creative thinker with direct experience in the development
and deployment of BI solutions.
- The developer should be a believer in the core value prop of BI & Performance Management and
one who relishes the notion of converting massive amounts of complex data into focused and
relevant business insight.
- The developer must also be a believer in the power of a "killer presentation layer" and not just
a "core engine or frameworks maestro."
- Direct experience with Open Source BI Frameworks is highly preferred.
- A developer with a dynamic personality and ability to interface and work well with both internal
colleagues and clients is preferred.
- Experience along a range of BI development projects from small-cube development to large-scale
cubes, DW projects, MDW, Metadata, and In-Memory BI Solutions is also preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines is a must.

- Certification in any BI framework / tool / solutions is a plus.

- Participates in the design and development of dynamic BI solutions for clients including DB
design, ETL, reporting, dashboard, scorecard and KPI design.
- Translates business requirements into functional specs, performs code reviews, conducts
performance benchmark tests, and a host of other related SDLC activities in accordance with
Company's agile and rapid development disciplines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in some aspect of technology development and/or
engineering discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years software development experience with a minimum of 2 years experience as a BI
developer working on data warehousing, business analytics or performance management
projects.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies a plus.
