VisiQuate announces analytics that quantify individual, team, and group effectiveness

Santa Rosa, CA June 22 – Typically, managers evaluate team performance by looking at a blend of time & attendance, productivity, and work quality. So anyone who manages a group of employees, subcontractors, and vendors has a general idea of who are the most valuable and least valuable members of the team. But at ANI 2015,one of the premier events in healthcare finance, sponsored by HFMA (www.hfma.org), VisiQuate, Inc. announced a solution that enhances the subjective art of human capital evaluation with objective, transparent metrics: Team Performance Analytics (TPA).

“Grouping your people by quintile or similar segments is old school,” said Brian Robertson, VisiQuate Founder and CEO. “We’ve learned in working with our clients in other advanced segmentation and scoring use cases, that advanced logic that balances quantitative and qualitative measures provides a more complete picture of true performance, so we decided to bring some of the same disciplines and experiences to TPA.” According to Robertson, TPA imports time & attendance data from popular programs, and combines it with productivity, quality, and other key performance data. Managers are able to assign their own weighted values to each KPI, and can adjust the scoring to level the playing field between new hires and experienced veterans.

“This is also great for employees,” said Keith Eggert, FHFMA, VisiQuate EVP & General Manager, Healthcare. “It gives them a transparent, completely fair picture of how they are performing, including peer to peer comparisons. When they see their scores changing on a regular basis, it creates a gamification effect that increases motivation, just like the type of motivation that comes from looking at steps taken on a Fitbit. As an option, it can even include a number that shows how their incentive compensation – from bonus checks to soft currency – increases or decreases with their performance. VisiQuate will conduct demos of this new solution – along with a host of other advanced analytics solutions -- at the conference.
