VisiQuate Will Share Expanded Ana Analytics Chatbot, Robotic Process Automation and Chronic Care Management Capabilities at HIMSS20

Co-founder and chief experience officer Rich Waller will present on optimizing the payer-provider relationship at Innovation Live theater

SANTA ROSA, Calif. — March 3, 2020 — Attendees at HIMSS20 who want to learn how analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) can be used more easily and effectively to achieve peak business health will want to stop by the VisiQuate Innovation Live booth, #8200-38 (Hall E). That’s where the company will be unveiling and demonstrating a host of innovations centered around Ana, its 24x7 AI-powered data analyst and virtual revenue cycle expert.

At the forefront of its in-booth activities will be a demonstration of how Ana’s analytics and machine learning can be used to drive robotic process automation (RPA) and other data-driven process automation. Visitors will be able to use conversational language to ask Ana common revenue cycle questions, such as requesting the denial rate by payer for a given time period, and see a visualization of the answer appear in real time. VisiQuate will also introduce new capabilities for Ana, including the ability to predict care behavior and provide deep analysis around anomaly detection within key data signals such as transactions, accounts receivable (A/R), claims, remits, and payer, provider and patient behavior.

“Ana makes pulling up answers to complex revenue cycle management, denials management, value-based care, workforce performance and a host of other questions as easy as using a digital assistant on your phone or in your home,” said Anthony Comfort, VP Product Development at VisiQuate. “There is nothing else like her in healthcare, and we are constantly making improvements and additions to make her even more useful and user friendly. We are excited to share our latest additions to this powerful platform at HIMSS20.”

AI, machine learning and RPA
Also new this year for VisiQuate is an expanded entry into data-driven process automation with an emphasis on RPA to help optimize costs and enhance yield without sacrificing quality. This topic will be the subject of the presentation, “Optimizing the Payer-Provider Relationship with AI,” by Rich Waller, co-founder and chief experience officer at VisiQuate. The presentation, which takes place Tuesday, March 10, from 4:15 to 4:35 pm ET in the Innovation Live theater, will examine how VisiQuate uses Ana to better model and predict claims denials.

Attendees will discover how they can use AI and ML tools to gain more accurate healthcare payer behavioral insights, how conversational AI can make data more approachable for healthcare business users, and how to integrate payer behavior insights and chatbots to understand operational performance. Demonstrations of VisiQuate’s RPA technology will also be available in the company’s booth throughout HIMSS20.

Verifying chronic care management improvement
Many health payers are placing greater pressure than ever on providers to implement and report on chronic care management programs. At HIMSS20, VisiQuate will unveil its first foray into this arena with its diabetes management program. Its holistic platform drives a unified data lake for all the key data signals such as blood glucose readings, and includes go-to-market strategies, payer reporting, provider reporting, diabetes educator integration and education.

The technology enables providers to leverage a single platform to measure and deliver a program of engagement around device and care management initiatives to meet the demands of payers who want them to pursue more innovative business models. Keys to the VisiQuate offering are that it is designed to be patient-centric rather than device- or pharma-centric and supports a patient care delivery model that connects devices and medications to education, coaching and other benefits. The solution not only helps streamline operations and reduce costs. It also opens up additional revenue opportunities for providers.

“HIMSS is by far the largest conference and exposition in the health IT space, attracting attendees from all across the globe,” said Brian Robertson, Founder & CEO. “I am confident we are prepared to have our best HIMSS ever and that we will open a lot of eyes regarding how analytics, AI and ML, rendered simply, can help move the needle for healthcare organizations of all sizes.”
